My grandfather sculpted this monument in honour of the 40th anniversary of the Communist Party of Yugoslavia. We just passed it, with some 5 km to go

So we’re in the more urban part of the trail now. We just crossed KT-3 and everyone is increasingly quiet, so I guess the whole thing is starting to get to us. Walking on concrete doesn’t help either.

We’re near BTC at the moment, about halft way through. 17 clicks to target… So, how are you guys holding up?

Our proud little outfit passed KT-7 couple of minutes ago. We seem to hit a checkpoint every hour or so. Slightly slower than expected, but stil fairly good. We’re nearing the top of Golovec hill at the moment
