Detox & Redux

Talk about getting yourself a birthday gift… Robbie Williams just checked into a rehab clinic, supposedly to cure his addiction to prescription drugs… Now, Wobbie is my favourite pop musician currently on stage, but how the fuck to do you get hooked on antibiotics???? 😈

This is what an OD of amoxiclav will do to you…

Hearing the brighter side of life…After reportedly becoming half deaf, Phil Collins’ hearing has reportedly improved so much that he’s back on tour with Genesis and will give a free performance in Rome on July 14 (Ozzy “whaddafuckisthat” Osborne is following suit)

No wonder he got an ear infection… Didn’t mama ever tell him not to take his shirt off when he was all sweaty?

And finally… Spread ’em… The Police are back… The high-piched voice of Sting will ask Roxanne not to go out whoring yet again.

Rooooooooxane!

BTW: In case you didn’t know – Sting is the vocal at the begining of Dire Straits’ Money For Nothing. I guess Mark won’t be touring these parts any time soon, right?

  1. No. At one point I started to dislike him and it’s not getting any better.

But I do like Wobbie, Dire Straits and Sting very much. And I used to be a big fan of U2. 🙂

  2. I’m sort of indecided about Phil. I think he rocks for being a multiinstrumentalist, and I like some of his songs, like In the Air Tonight, or I Can’t Dance, but I wouldn’t put him on my top 10 list… 😀

  3. You know, I think we’ve simply had too much Phil Collins… Name any radio programme that does not include him (except Tolpa bumov at Radio Student)… And he sounds more and more like someone trying to please Grannies with his voice (sorry, no offence intended).

  4. Not off topic in the slightest… Still working on them I think by tommorow or Friday at the very latest… I know I’m late, but I got things to see and people to do 😉

  5. And you said you don’t have a to-do list of people. 😀 😀 😀 You liar! 😈

At the end of the week is not at all late for me. I just don’t feel like searching all around and checking for them if I can ask the person in charge directly. 🙂

  6. Really glad The Police got back together. I might even consider shelling out the wads of cash that reportedly are being asked for a ticket just to see them in Autumn.
Having that said : I was hoping I’d never see Phil Collins again, inspite of a few good songs like ‘In the Air Tonight’ and stuff from the older part of the Genesis catalogue.
Couldn’t care less if they toured; I’ve got bigger fish to fry, like : ‘How to get a gig at Orto?’ or ‘How to make the roster of Metal Camp even though my band isn’t really metal?’ 😀 😀 😀

  7. You win some, you lose some… As far as bands being reunitef I mean. As far as Orto is concerned, I could ask around. You know… people who know people… 😀

  8. Would be a good opportunity to make arrangements to come back soon after April. And that, my friend, would earn you – besides my eternal gratitude, of course – another crate of ‘The Good Stuff’… 😉

    P.S. : The CD’s in the mail!
