That was a despicable and shameful act that many, including me, will never forgive him for. Or his general outsourcing of foreign policy to American neocon and Lockheed Martin lobbyist Bruce Pitcairn Jackson. In the afterword to the Slovene version of Michael Moore's Stupid White Men, I nominated Rupel for the title of Slovenia's national champion in that category. In my opinion he really is one of the very worst characters in the Slovenian political landscape. It will take years to repair all the damage he has done. Rupel is a contemptible figure.
